Launching Global PH Consult

14 July 2026

Today we’re launching Global PH Consult, a new online service from PVRI’s Access to Care Workstream.

It gives clinicians around the world a space to bring anonymised complex PH cases for discussion with a tailored panel of PH specialists.

The service is free and open to clinicians globally, with a primary focus on supporting those in low and middle-income countries (LMICs).

Why we’ve created Global PH Consult
PH care looks different around the world. Some clinicians have regular access to specialist centres, multidisciplinary teams, and international networks. Others have fewer opportunities to discuss complex cases with colleagues in the field.

Global PH Consult aims to help reduce these disparities.

How it works
Clinicians can submit a current or past complex PH case through the PVRI website. The case review team will assess each submission and match selected cases with a tailored panel of PH specialists.

If your case is selected, you’ll:

  1. meet with the specialist panel before the webinar
  2. join a live 60-minute case discussion
  3. hear perspectives relevant to your case
  4. explore possible approaches
  5. contribute to shared learning across the global PH community

Where possible, the webinar date and time will be arranged around the availability and time zones of the case submitter.

Building a global PH case library
Each webinar will be recorded and added to an online case study library.

Over time, this will create a growing educational resource where clinicians can explore complex PH cases, hear different perspectives, and learn from colleagues around the world.

By submitting a case, you won’t only receive tailored discussion. You’ll also help create a resource that can support the wider PH community.

Who can submit a case?
Global PH Consult is open to clinicians around the world who are managing, or have managed, a complex PH case that would benefit from wider discussion.

Clinicians in LMICs are particularly encouraged to submit cases, but clinicians in LMICs are particularly encouraged to submit cases.

Please also share Global PH Consult with colleagues, regional PH centres, and clinical networks who may benefit from the service.
