14 October - 16 October 2021
The PVRI is pleased to invite you to the PHSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting, which is being held in Sydney, Australia from 14-16 October 2021. The meeting will be held in person for the Australia and New Zealand community, but on-line attendance will be offered for those outside of the region. Online attendance will cost 40AUD.
PVRI President Werner Seeger will be giving a 15 minute presentation and update for attendees.
"Estimations of key disease burden indicators are limited by data availability and quality. To this end, the PVRI GoDeep project set goal to establish a world-spanning meta-registry for PH, that includes anonymised data from patients diagnosed by right heart catheterisation. GoDeep will enable deep phenotyping with > 350 variables, including echo, functional measurements, drug treatments and long-term follow-up. Each participating PH centre will be linked electronically to GoDeep and anonymised follow-up data will be automatically uploaded in quarterly updates. A Use and Access Committee includes all centres taking part. GoDeep has two levels of data access, first level being for data exploration and feasibility analysis, whereas the second level will enable unrestricted access for scientific purposes. Except for its three founding members, more than 20 PH centres around the world have currently expressed their interest to take part in GoDeep. For all researchers interested in the genomics of PAH, the planned collaboration of GoDeep with PAH-ICON will be of great interest.
