5 - 7 April, 11th Annual Pulmonary Hypertension meeting of SAPH in Dubai

We are delighted to invite you to attend the 11th Annual Pulmonary Hypertension Conference of the Saudi Association for Pulmonary Hypertension (SAPH), organised in collaboration with the Saudi Thoracic Society and the PVRI.

The conference will take place from 5 to 7 April 2018, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

19-21 April, Russian Cardiovascular Days in St Petersburg

Interactive scientific programme of the forum includes clinical case discussions, lectures, symposia and master classes based on the latest European guidelines. Russian and European opinion leaders will discuss the hot topics and answer the most burning questions of the audience.

Within the Forum different aspects of CAD, infectious endocarditis, arrhyth- mia, cardiovascular prevention and heart failure will be covered. A special focus will be on the European guidelines on atrial fibrillation, peripheral artery disease, dual anticoagulant therapy and STEMI as well as imaging in cardiology and implantation of medical devices.

The programme will be interesting for a wide range of specialists and students.

10-12 May, Muscat International Respiratory Update, Oman

We are delighted to invite you to attend the Muscat International Respiratory Update (MIRU) organised in collaboration with the Oman Respiratory Society, Oman Medical Association and the PVRI.

The conference will take place from 10 to 12 May 2018, at the Muscat Grand Millennium Hotel, Oman.

The scientific program for MIRU is rich with a wide spectrum of medical topics to be discussed in this conference which will be delivered by experts in the field.

9 - 10 July, 5th Annual Drug Discovery & Development Symposium for Pulmonary Hypertension in Bethesda

This year, the Annual Drug Discovery and Development for Pulmonary Hypertension Symposium will be held in the Washington D.C. area. The meeting is held annually each summer to bring leading scientists in the fields of pulmonary vascular disease, right heart failure, and clinical trial designs together with the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory authorities to help identify the most promising treatments for future development.

18-21 October, 34th World Congress on Internal Medicine, Cap Town, South Africa

The 34th World Congress of Internal Medicine for 2018 will be held in the beautiful city of Cape Town in South Africa, at the International Convention Centre from 18 to 21 October 2018.

All aspects of Internal Medicine will be covered during parallel sessions presented by an exciting faculty drawn from experts across the international community. The aim of the meeting is to provide an excellent academic programme for the general physician but of a standard that the specialty groups such as rheumatologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists and so on would also benefit. We plan to have posters from investigators in clinical as well as research areas and “Meet the Expert” sessions where we will encourage interactive discussions using interesting case studies to illustrate clinical challenges. State of the art symposia with updates on recent guidelines and developments across the spectrum of Internal Medicine will be presented.

15-19 November, 5th International Leh Symposium in India

We are delighted to invite you to join the PVRI High Altitude Task Force 5th International Leh Symposium, which will take place at Gangtok, Sikkim, India, from 15-19 November 2018.

Gangtok is situated at an altitude of approximately 7000ft in the Himalayas. One can admire the mighty Kanchenjunga (pictured above), the second highest peak and several other high peaks in the vicinity.
