We are pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for a Fellowship in pulmonary hypertension and right ventricular dysfunction at the Quebec Heart and Lung Institute, University of Laval in Quebec City, Canada.
This training programme is sponsored by the Pulmonary Hypertension Research Group at the Quebec Heart and Lung Institute. The group is looking for dynamic individuals at the post-doctoral level. A working experience in molecular biology, biochemistry and vascular physiology is demanded. The translational Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Research Group is interested in identifying the pathophysiological pathways associated with pulmonary arterial hypertension, and in the development of new therapies.
The duration of the fellowship is two years with an option of a third year. Full funding is available. Opportunities are available across the spectrum of basic science, translational science, and clinical research in all aspects of pulmonary heart disease.
Interested applicants should submit a personal statement explaining their interest and long-term plans, their CV, and three letters of recommendation by 1 December 2018.
The Pulmonary Hypertension Research Group is a young and dynamic team located in Québec City, close to Laval University. The wages offered are in conformity with the Canadian granting agencies.
