Abstract
Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) patients frequently present with cardiometabolic comorbidities and experience substantial hematologic and cardiovascular events. In a retrospective U.S. linked claims-EHR cohort (n = 16,749), hypertension, heart failure, diabetes, and CKD were common. Incidence rates (per 100 person-years) for thrombocytopenia and major bleeding were 8.2 and 7.3, respectively.
