22 January 2026

PVRI has published its IDDI Workstreams and Task Forces 2025-2026 Report, highlighting the global collaboration driving progress in PH research, care, and innovation.

The report brings together updates from PVRI’s Innovative Drug Development Initiative (IDDI) Workstreams, alongside regional, disease, and specialty Task Forces working across diverse healthcare settings worldwide. Together, these groups connect clinicians, researchers, patients, industry partners, and regulators to tackle shared challenges in PH.

Across 2025–2026, IDDI Workstreams advanced work in areas including access to care, lung transplantation, new technologies, paediatric trial design, patient engagement, real-world evidence, and PH associated with chronic lung disease. Many groups published peer-reviewed research, delivered webinars and scientific meetings, and laid the groundwork for new consensus and guidance.

PVRI’s Regional, Disease, and Specialty Task Forces continue to address region-specific priorities and focused areas of PH research and care, supporting education, early diagnosis, guideline development, and capacity building worldwide.
