Nominations now open for PVRI Awards 2026

Nominations are now open for the PVRI Lifetime Achievement Award 2026, PVRI Achievement Award 2026, and PVRI Special Recognition Award, celebrating outstanding contributions to the global PH community. These prestigious awards reflect PVRI’s ongoing commitment to recognising excellence, collaboration, and leadership in PH research and care.
- The PVRI Lifetime Achievement Award is awarded to a senior PH investigator or clinician who has made direct and substantive contributions to the PH world and, ideally, to the PVRI.
- The PVRI Achievement Award is awarded to one or more mid-career PVRI members who have made a significant contribution to basic or clinical research.
- The PVRI Special Recognition Award celebrates PVRI members — individuals or groups — for their exceptional service to the PVRI and to the wider PH field.
The nomination period will be open for six weeks, closing on 01 December 2025. After nominations have closed, a subcommittee of the PVRI Board will select the winners for each of the Awards.
