Phase 1 of Pulmonary Hypertension Global Patient Survey (PH GPS) is now closed
The PVRI launched the Pulmonary Hypertension Global Patient Survey (PH GPS) in October 2023 to help clinicians better understand the impacts of PH on patients.
The global survey was written by a multidisciplinary panel of PH specialists and patient group advocates from the Pulmonary Hypertension Associations of Europe, United States, United Kingdom and South Africa. It was coordinated by PVRI’s Patient Engagement & Empowerment Workstream and endorsed by ERN-Lung.
Phase 1 of the survey was made available in 24 languages. It received a huge response, with almost 4,000 patients and carers in over 85 countries completing the survey.
On 27 September 2024, phase 1 of the PH GPS closed. The research team is currently analysing the results and finalising reports and papers. The findings will be pivotal in shaping future research and enhancing healthcare to benefit patients globally, and we look forward to sharing them soon, as well as the plans for phase 2.
We are so grateful to everyone for contributing to our vision to improve the worldwide patient experience. We particularly thank the PH patients and carers for their participation.
