7th Int'l Leh Symposium: Molecular mechanisms and therapeutics of hypoxic lung

4 August 2024 - 9 August 2024

Location: Mahabodhi International Centre Saboo, Leh, Ladakh India

Ladakh, a land of spirituality with mystic Lamas and a traveller’s paradise with mighty mountains and high passes with their splendid beauty, welcomes you to the 7th International Leh Symposium 2024 with a theme on ‘Molecular mechanisms and therapeutics of hypoxic lung’.

The 6th Int’l Leh Symposium 2022 was a smashing success, with talks from international delegates and an equal number of national delegates. This year, the conference will be held from August 04 to 09, 2024, and due to high demand, in the same venue – ‘Mahabodhi International Centre’, Saboo, Leh, Ladakh. Hypobaric Hypoxia Society, India, and its allied organizers extend a warm welcome to all participants for this prestigious symposium.

The Symposium will focus on the health issues of inhabitants of high altitudes, sojourners, and individuals dealing with pulmonary hypertension in both normobaric and hypobaric hypoxia conditions. The amalgamation of national and international experts provides ample opportunity to learn, especially the upcoming clinical researchers, about the advancements in the field. The focus extends to addressing local health concerns in highland and lowland areas, issues affecting sojourners at high altitudes, and connecting the researchers and physicians from remote HA areas to global studies. The Poster presentations by young participants contribute to a vibrant, competitive, and stimulating environment for everyone.

The venue of our scientific event is a renowned International Meditation Center with a primary emphasis on ‘Meditation in Action’ and ‘Compassion in Action’, readily available to anyone seeking these experiences. Additionally, it offers a glimpse into the rich Indian cultural heritage, emphasizing well-being through the pure connection between nature and an individual’s soul.
