Joseph Newman award winner at ERS for best abstract in patient centred research

10 September 2024

Congratulations to Joseph Newman, who was presented with the ELF Travel grant 10 September at the ERS Congress in Vienna for the best abstract in patient centred research entitled 'The Pulmonary Hypertension Global Patient Survey (PH GPS): an overview and results'.

The PH GPS is the first global survey to assess the impacts of PH on patients and their lived experiences, and is pivotal in shaping future research and enhancing healthcare to benefit patients on a global scale. Almost 4,000 patients and carers in over 85 countries have completed our PH GPS, and we thank the whole pulmonary hypertension community for their contributions.
