
Èsther Nossent
Esther J. Nossent is a pulmonologist since 2014 and she works in the pulmonary hypertension and ILD team of the Amsterdam UMC center of expertise for Pulmonary Hypertension and ILD, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Areas of expertise include pulmonary hypertension, with special interest in rare subforms of pulmonary hypertension, like pulmonary veno-occlusive disease (PVOD) and pulmonary arterial hypertension due to connective tissue diseases (PAH-CTD), and interstitial lung disease (ILD). From 2010-2014 she completed her residency Pulmonology in the VU University Medical Center, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Additional she did a master training in interstitial lung disease, pulmonary vascular disease and lung transplantation in University Hospital Gasthuisberg in Leuven, Belgium and a fellowship pulmonary hypertension in Centre de Référence de l'Hypertension Artérielle Pulmonaire, Université Paris-Sud, Hôpital Bicêtre in Paris, France.” After this she joined the Pulmonary Hypertension team in Amsterdam, taking care daily of patients with all forms of pulmonary hypertension and focusing her research on deep phenotyping of pulmonary hypertension and PVOD. She is chair of the Dutch working group on Pulmonary Vascular Diseases of the Dutch Society of Respiratory Physicians.
