19 November 2026 @ 16:00 GMT
Join us for the inaugural webinar in the 'Women's Health Career Pathways' series, a new initiative from the PVRI Women's Health Task Force that explores the personal and professional journeys of leaders working across women's health and pulmonary hypertension (PH). The series was developed as an interview-style format, focusing on one guest at a time to allow for deeper storytelling and practical career insights.
In this inaugural session, Jessica Badlam, will share her career journey, reflect on key decisions and challenges, and discuss the lessons she's learned along the way. We'll also explore how considering sex and gender has influenced her scientific thinking, collaborations, and career development.
Topics include:
- building a career in PH and women's health research
- finding mentors and developing collaborations
- navigating opportunities, challenges, and setbacks
- developing a leadership and research identity
- the role of sex and gender in shaping research and career pathways
