Make even more of your time in Bangkok by joining one of our special fundraising events.

These small-group experiences offer a different way to connect with colleagues, enjoy the city, and support stronger PH collaboration, research, engagement, and professional development across Southeast Asia.

Congress delegates are welcome to bring a guest, including partners who are not attending the Congress. You can include them in your booking; but please make a minimum donation for each person attending.

A Toast to Southeast Asia

Join fellow delegates for an intimate wine tasting at the Italthai Cellar, Amari Bangkok’s elegant wine bar.

Enjoy a carefully selected range of wines, accompanied by Thai nibbles, in a relaxed setting before the Congress begins. It’s a chance to meet colleagues, start new conversations, and experience a sophisticated side of Bangkok.

A minimum donation of £50 is required to attend, however larger donations are warmly welcomed. Funds raised will support PH collaboration, research, engagement, and professional development across Southeast Asia.

Sunrise Serenity Tai Chi

• Amari Bangkok Rooftop Garden, Eighth Floor

Begin your day with a gentle rooftop garden tai chi session led by a local instructor.

Designed for all fitness levels and experience, the session will introduce simple movements, breathing techniques, and mindful practice in a calm outdoor setting.

There is no donation required to join, but donations are warmly welcomed. Every contribution will support PH collaboration, research, engagement, and professional development across Southeast Asia.

Your support will make a difference

These optional activities have been arranged to raise funds to help PVRI reduce the global burden of PH. Your donations will support grants and awards for early-career colleagues and those from low-resource regions, subsidise delegate fees for those who need it, pay publishing fees, and much more. 

Donations are non-refundable. We’ll always do our best to run each activity as planned, but circumstances outside our control — such as severe weather or venue limitations — may mean we need to adapt, shorten, or cancel an activity. If this happens, your contribution will still directly support PVRI’s charitable work.
