Each year, the Gala Dinner & Awards Presentation is one of the real highlights of the PVRI Congress, and PVRI 2027 Bangkok will be no exception.
Taking place at the Amari Bangkok Hotel & Conference Centre, the Gala Dinner will be a relaxed and memorable evening with friends and colleagues. Guests can look forward to a glass of prosecco on arrival, the much-anticipated awards presentations, a tasty three-course Thai dinner, and an evening of dancing.
It will be a chance to celebrate outstanding contributions to PH research, care, and the PVRI community, while catching up with familiar faces and making new connections beyond the scientific programme.

PVRI 2027 Awards
The awards presented on the night include some of PVRI’s most prestigious honours, from the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognising a senior PH investigator or clinician who has made a lasting contribution to the field, to the Achievement Award for mid-career members advancing basic or clinical research. PVRI members nominate colleagues for these special awards.
Certificates of Excellence are also presented for outstanding service to PVRI and the wider PH community. And promising early-career talent is celebrated through the Butrous Foundation Young Investigator Award and the Rupert Swift Award.
