Meet the Living Legend
Marlene Rabinovitch is a leading paediatric cardiologist and pioneering researcher whose work has redefined the understanding and treatment of pulmonary vascular disease. At Stanford, she directs the Basic Science and Engineering Initiative at the Betty Irene Moore Children’s Heart Center and serves as Staff Scientist at the Vera Moulton Wall Center for Pulmonary Vascular Disease.
Her discoveries on vascular remodelling and right-heart dysfunction have guided new approaches to therapy. A recipient of the American Heart Association’s Research Achievement Award and American Thoracic Society’s Scientific Accomplishment Award, she is also a committed mentor and active member of the Pulmonary Vascular Research Institute (PVRI).
