N-Ras: a novel player in endothelial & T cell pathophysiology in PH?

18 February 2026

Presented at PVRI 2026 Congress by Edgar Fernández-Malavé, Universidad Complutense De Madrid

Summary

N-Ras is a guanine nucleotide binding protein with GTPase activity. It belongs to the “classical” family of Ras proteins, together with the H-Ras and K-Ras isoforms. The presentation will explore how N-ras deficiency protects against experimental PAH through impaired endothelial-dependent vasodilation and altered lung T cell ladscape, supporting N-Ras as a novel molecular determinant of PAH with potential therapeutic value.
